Hi Compass Product Team,

I would like to request a new feature that would greatly improve usability of the Compass Calendar.

Requested Feature:

Please enable the ability to generate ICS links for the Events layer within the Compass Calendar. This would allow staff to subscribe to school event calendars using external calendar applications (e.g., Outlook, Google Calendar, Apple Calendar), in the same way they currently can for other calendar layers such as meetings.

Reason for Request:

The Events layer displays key events from the Events module, but currently cannot be exported or subscribed to.

Staff rely heavily on external calendar tools for daily planning and reminders.

ICS subscription support would ensure events are automatically synced, prevent missed events, and reduce manual copying or duplication of information.

This would improve staff workflow and reduce administrative overhead.

I believe this enhancement would deliver significant value to schools and staff who use Compass as their primary scheduling and organisational platform.

Thank you for considering this improvement. I appreciate the continuous updates being made to Compass and hope this can be added to the development roadmap.
