Automated Email Notifications for New Enrolments

I would like to have an automated email notification feature for new enrolments. This would help streamline communication and ensure that all relevant parties are promptly informed when a new enrolment occurs. Currently, I have to manually monitor the dashboard and use the 'Contact' button to notify staff, which is not efficient. An automated solution would greatly enhance our workflow.

It would be really handy if the system could automatically notify (email?) selected people when new students are enrolled or exited. The timetabler, for example.

I can not comment on the original requirements / suggestion.
We use the contact button to let the student's teachers know on the day they start. So an automated notice to teachers on the day would be useful.
We have a new starter process that we manage via chronicle - we add a milestone to activate the student briefly while we raise a "scheduled to start" chronicle on the day the student is added to Compass and that emails the family a welcome to the school email and triggers the appropriate chronicles for that student (eg notification, add to classes, add student to a welcome meet for first day). Then on the day the student arrives (provided they arrive) there is another chronicle waiting approval from the enrolment team that then triggers more chronicles for tasks after the student starts (eg get photo for ID card, update evacuation rolls etc)

Hi everyone - thanks for this suggestion! :)
Can you please let me know how you would like this to work? Would it be a new student has arrived at the school, and the email to send to a specific group of people (e.g Timetabler, etc). Or would you like it to send a day before their start date, etc.
Keen to get a bit more info if possible!

For our purposes, we would ideally have an email sent to specific group of people (in our case, library, I.T., and classroom or pastoral care teacher)
as soon as
the enrolment is confirmed (rather than on the first day of enrolment), and/or manually at the discretion of the registrar (since sometimes I imagine an enrolment is confirmed before all details are entered).The email would ideally contain:
- legal name + preferred name
- class(es)
- year level
- date of first enrolled day
- preferred household contact details
Though other details may need to be included, or the ability to customise according to each school's needs.
We would also make use of a similar email notification that is sent out when a student has unenrolled from the school, with the date of their last enrolled day.
Lastly, for what it's worth we may use automation to extract details from the email, eg. to setup accounts. So if the email is simply and consistently formatted (and details are not hidden behind a link), that would be of benefit.
