The fix implemented is not helpful at all, as the colour codes per faculty doesn't help staff who would be teaching multiple subjects from the same faculty. Please allow admins to colour code individual subjects and/or class groupings.

Hi everyone!
Timetables and calendar views can now be colour-coded by faculty, making it easier to see which faculty a class belongs to at a glance. Once set, the colours will appear across staff and student calendar views, helping users easily recognise faculties when viewing timetables or schedules. Each faculty can be assigned a colour in the Faculty Manager.

Compass - Customer Success This is great and welcomed, however I've noticed that text on the name of the subject/ classes can be difficult to read on some of the colour options (seems to apply only on the web version and not the app). Can we get a custom colour picker to select colours and have more options, and could this be subject based instead of faculty?

Compass - Customer Success Thank you for working towards this option. This means, however, there is no real benefit to teachers within a faculty.
Can you advise how this can be navigated?

And can the text colour automatically change to white when a darker colour is used, as it the schedule is almost impossible to read for the majority of colours...

Compass - Customer Success It’s great to see this improvement and the additional visual functionality being added.
That said, as others have mentioned, it can be quite difficult to read the text when the faculty colours are similar or when a darker colour is used, particularly if schools are trying to align faculty colours with those used by SCSA. In those cases, the contrast can make the subject text hard to read at a glance.
Would it be possible to consider an alternative approach, such as displaying the faculty colour as a narrow band on the right-hand side of the subject box? This would still allow faculties to be easily identified while keeping the main body of the subject box clear and readable.
Just a thought that might help balance visibility with usability

Compass - Customer Success This is a great start, but need more pastel color options, and also an option for staff/individuals to be able to turn it off - we have some staff this is causing issues with, and i suspect some student it may effect them too.

Currently when staff look at their timetable they see their classes in grey any duty and another colour and then their calendar events in separate colours which we can create ourselves it would be ideal if we could customise the colours of the classes across the grid so it is easy to identify which are your year nine grid, year eight grid etc

I would love to be able to allocate different colours to certain subjects or classes, like I can with categories for Events. We have set up a duty roster using Custom Classes which I would prefer shows in a different colour to classes so as not to confuse staff.
