Compass is a tool designed to support staff and reduce workload. I have feedback that in Resource Bookings the 'period' is not available, staff must select 'time'. How can we change this to suit our timetable/class 'period' structure? Would save significant time.

Yep. And when the period starts and finishes at the same time (e.g. P1 9-10:10, P2 10:10-11:20) it books out P2 because of the clash or overlap. Stupid. Have to manually make P2 start at 10:11am and it is ok to book a resource.

Agreed it is not very intuitive that the period disappears after being selected. I can see that the times are transferred across, however a typical drop-down does not behave this way so I can see how it could be confusing. Perhaps better if the selected period stayed selected, and only disappeared if the time was subsequently customised by the user?

In the uplifted version of the Resource Bookings, you can indeed select the period, which then sets the time of the period as the start or end depending what you are setting - the period doesn't "hold" in the drop down selection, but the times do.
