Compass News - don't default to 'parents'

When you set up a news item, the 'Audience' automatically has the 'Parents' section open. This has resulted in lots of notices that are meant for 'all students' to be sent to 'all parents'. Can it be set up so that none of the Audience menus are open so that staff can more thoughtfully select the audience?

For others who voted for this - as Riki pointed out you can manage this in Newsfeed settings in a part called 'default audience'. Unfortunately you still have to pick a default audience but at least you can choose 'staff' instead of 'parents'.
You’ll find the News Feed settings here:
Community (people icon) -> News Feed -> Settings
From that Settings page you can manage things like:
-Whether staff/students/parents can comment (master switch)
-Default timing for news posts (earliest/latest send times)
-Other general feed behaviour for your school
If you don’t see the Settings button, it usually means you don’t have the NewsFeedAdmin permission.
