Megan I think you are mis understanding where we are coming from. When we import our exams from edval a separate session is created for each period. If there is an exam the spans over 2 or more periods then there is multiple rolls that need to be marked for that one exam. Where the students do not leave the room at all there is no need to mark an exam roll for period 1 then period 2 when the are longer than the standard period structure.

Sorry, i disagree. It was so easy this week for staff to be able to mark individual class roles at the same time, during exams. In the past we have had to mark manual rolls and then get one person to mark them. Having these sit as individual classes looks messy but marking the rolls was a dream compared to all students in one event roll.
