Group activities happening at the same time

My school use group activities for detentions and sometimes students end up in two different detentions happening at the same time. E.g. a uniform detention and a behaviour detention both running 3.15pm-3.45pm on Thursday after school.
Is there a way to have a pop up to alert staff when a student ends up in multiple sessions at the same time with the option to reschedule one to the following week?

Are these two different group activities?
You can have multiple chronicle entries adding students to the same Group Activity and that will check to ensure double ups.
When you have separate activities there is no visibility between the two.

Don't hold me to this, but I was under the impression that if a student already has a detention issued, Compass would automatically place them into the next day's detention for the same time (preventing double-up).
