Multiple teachers in one Conference

Multiple teachers should be able to be booked for a conference so that their own schedule is accurate. It also allows parents to feel that they have booked accurately and assists us to avoid double bookings, for example: parent of student A books with teacher 1 and parent of student B books with teacher 2, but teacher 1 and 2 both need to attend with each parent together.

Subject: Feature Request - Joint Teacher Conference Booking Enhancement
Tracey Schaeche
Hi Compass Product Team,
I'd like to suggest an enhancement to the conference booking system for joint interviews with multiple teachers.
Current Issue:
When setting up conferences with shared teaching arrangements (two teachers for one class), families can select either teacher when booking. However, the system only blocks the selected teacher's calendar, not both teachers' calendars. This creates scheduling conflicts when teachers also have individual appointments.
Requested Enhancement:
For joint interviews, when a family books a timeslot, both teachers' calendars should automatically show that time as unavailable. This would prevent double-booking conflicts and eliminate the need for manual calendar coordination.
Impact:
With 80+ joint meetings to coordinate while managing front desk duties, this enhancement would significantly reduce administrative workload and prevent scheduling errors.
Kind regards

Multiple Teachers on a Booking (Shared Class situation)

Can we please have the option to assign multiple teachers to a single class within Conferences, so it shows correctly on their schedule.
Currently we have to just have the second teacher sitting there but not reflected in any systems.

Conferences - 2 Teachers 1 Conference
Scott Woolcock
As a primary school we have a number of classes that are shared grades. Both our teachers sit in on the conferences. It would be great to have the ability to tag both teachers to the class but under 1 booking. At the moment, only one teacher can see, change, add, delete bookings. The other teacher is relying on their partner to keep them updated on non-work days.

Conferences - Multiple Teachers

Our parent-teacher conferences typically involve 2-3 teachers meeting with parents simultaneously. We would like conference appointments to appear automatically on the calendars/schedules of all participating staff members.
Ideally, when creating a conference booking, staff should be able to:
Select multiple teachers who will attend the conference.
Have the conference automatically added to each selected teacher's schedule/calendar.
View availability for all selected teachers to avoid booking conflicts.
Make changes to the conference that update all participants' schedules automatically.
This would make it much easier to coordinate collaborative parent-teacher meetings and ensure all involved staff receive the booking details.

In the case of part time teachers, only one teacher can be added, so the other teacher needs to ask them for regular updates on bookings.

Multiple Staff allocated to single booking

Wants the ability for a class booking to allocate all staff involved in class to the booking, looking at the already booked slots of both teachers to determine available timeslots.

All this would be great, as a starting point it would be great if both teachers can at least see the bookings instead of just the lead teacher. I know a second teacher can be added to a class but this becomes confusing to parents who may think that they have to make a booking with one or the other when in fact both will be in attendance.

This would really help our school too. We have 7-8 classes that are shared between 2 teachers. It also shows parents that the teachers are equal and there is not a lead person.

Blocking enrolments and teacher times
M
Meagan BRAKE
When there are muliplte people needed for a conference it would be useful to be able to block enrolments from certain times that way I can ensure that both teachers are available at the same time.
At this stage there is no way of setting up a conference involving 2 teachers without hours of prescheduling to ensure no double ups. If i could block the enrolments and teacher times this would save the scheduling problem.
