Compass support have confirmed that if a user clicks on an email link to a Compass resource, and if a user is not already signed in to Compass on their web browser, it will only link directly to the Compass homepage after signing in (and not to the resource originally linked).

This is because the Compass SSO currently does not currently support Deep-linking.

This feature would be of great benefit to our staff, parents and students, particularly when clicking on an email link on their mobile device.
