Sub-events within events

Problem: Long events (such as senior exams) run across multiple periods and require staff changes. The only option is to schedule staff onto the entire event and staff are confused about when they are actually required to be there.
Solution: Allow event organisers to create "sub-events" within events. This ensures staff only see the time period that they are scheduled to attend. This would reduce: staff confusion, workload for event organisers and overwhelming and stacked up day schedules.

there is a new feature that allows you to schedule different staff to different sessions in events - this should solve your issue. Create a session for each period with the different supervising staff for each session.

Great idea! The update where staff and rooms can be changed in different sessions within the one event is great but it is also annoying to create separate sessions every time the staff/rooms change within the same day
