Our heads of department would like a way to see all learning tasks for their faculty on a single screen, so they can see which tasks have been released to parents and students, due dates, whether marks have been entered etc. Similar to the Task tab on a teacher's dashboard, but applicable for all tasks of subjects that the staff member is the faculty manager for, regardless of whether they actually teach the class or not. Alternatively, could there be a "Faculty" page, similar to the subject page, where all tasks are listed.

Give students the ability to mark homework as completed. Literally all UK MIS' or learning platforms give students this feature. The teacher can override the completion if it has not been completed or needs redoing. The Learning Task page would then be split into "Upcoming", "Completed", "Overdue"; when a student marks a homework as completed, it moves from upcoming to completed. If the student does not mark it off before the due date, it becomes overdue. Also, stop categorising the Learning Tasks page by subject. Categorise it by closest due date first, irrespective of subject. This gives the student an overview of tasks that need to be completed first. If you want a good example of this suggestion in action, look up the Microsoft Teams assignment feature. This shows my suggestion in practice!

Request: ability to complete learning task data fields from existing data trackers. Current situation: manual data entry for most fields (eg. percentage is manaully typed in, grade letters can be shortcut by typing a letter, but manual selection required for (+) grades, comments link to Comment Bank interface, but requires secondary setup of comment banks. Idea: csv template can be generated and downloaded per learning task, complete with students enrolled and user instructions, then data from existing data trackers transferred into the template. Template is then uploaded and used to auto-fill existing Learning Task Fields.. OR, designated permissions allow user to upload / link open format data from an existing Sheets, Excel, csv.

It will be nice if teacher can import students' results to compass learning task from a csv/spreedsheet with the student ID

When new students are enrolled, if there are learning tasks setup for the classes they join, they are not automatically added to those learning tasks. This has led to confusion with teachers not seeing their students listed in the task. Can we have these students automatically enrolled in all tasks assigned to that class/subject? Alternatively, an option for the school to select to do this if not viable for everyone.

Current Issue: At present, once a teacher completes marking a task, parents must log in to the system to view the task details and results. However, many parents do not regularly check the system, resulting in missed updates. Suggested Improvement: We propose that once a task is marked, the task details and the result are automatically emailed to the parent.

Make learning task submission window large enough to see all submitted tasks, or at east able to enlarge window manually to do so. Also have the view so we can see what sections/button/components that students have submitted their files to. Window should be large enough to see all necessary information.

Students often use their list of learning tasks as a to do list. They do not have the option to mark any of the work as completed if it doesn't have a file submission requirement. What i suggest is we add a simple column with a checkbox that they can tick to mark the work as completed. they can then filter the list of learning tasks to tasks that need to be completed and ones that have been.

Would be great to add a date range into the learning tasks, especially for assessments like presentations which may run over several classes.
