Create Custom Flags to track students on modified timetables

It would be good to be able to search for all student birthdays in a particular month so we can produce birthday certificates easily.

Currently there is no way to easily view which users have been assigned to a role group. I would like to be able to select a role group within permissions manager and have the users listed. Then be able to add or delete users from the role group while in permission manager.

Could we have a page in Compass that visually displays all students with a red or amber camera flag, indicating that consent to release their image has not been provided or is unclear? The page would automatically stay up to date based on each student’s current flag.

When entering a student’s doctor details in People Management, the practitioner/provider number is currently a mandatory field, alongside the doctor’s name, practice, address and phone number. Parents do not provide the practitioner/provider number on our enrolment forms, so staff would need to research each doctor individually to obtain this information. This creates a significant administrative workload for information we do not otherwise require for enrolment. Could you please consider making this field optional? This would allow staff to enter the doctor’s contact details without spending additional time sourcing a provider number. Thank you for considering this request.

Introduce a new milestone field for staff users called Staff Type, with two dropdown options: Internal – Staff employed directly by the school. External – Staff employed by the Diocese, Central Office or another external organisation. This field should function in the same way as the existing Student Type milestone field, allowing for consistent classification, filtering and reporting. This simple enhancement would significantly improve staff visibility, administration, reporting and governance across Compass school portals. It is currently very difficult to accurately identify, filter and manage staff users based on their employment relationship with the school.

For ease of location it would be beneficial to be able to have a search or filter in custom groups (like Events etc). Additionally, if we could archive these withing the Custom Group area, rather than having to delete. After only 10 months of Kaartdijin activity, we are using this function more and more and it's is becoming increasingly hard to locate a group. This will only increase with further year groups. Whilst we can save on another platform (i.e. our shared drive), for ease of locating by teaching staff, it would be better to be able to look in the same area as current lists.

It would be great to have a checkbox in People Management that turns off publishing a staff member to the staff directory. We have a number of staff 'on leave' who still need to be active in CASES21 but still appear on the staff directory.

Please add spaces in phone numbers. Reading a 10-digit number without spaces can be difficult, especially if there's an emergency.

Currently locker numbers pull from eduHUB/Cases for students. It's a little clunky editing them in Cases so it would be great if we had the option to enable/disable the eduHub field and have the option to manually upload a CSV with student codes and their locker number. Ideally for us the ability to update these via API would be preferable but most would benefit from the CSV upload.
