It would be good to have the ability to block out a staff member on their Compass schedule on the days they don't work.

At the start of a school year, we print student timetables. Currently, this can only be done individually - going into each student's schedule and manually printing. It would be good if all timetables for students in particular groups (e.g. A house or year group) could be generated and printed in one go.

For schools operating a 10-day timetable, it would be extremely helpful if Compass displayed the timetable day prominently at the top of each daily schedule. For example: Day 1 (Monday – Week 1) Day 6 (Monday – Week 2) As the same day of the week can correspond to different timetable days, this information is essential for staff to quickly identify where they are within the timetable cycle. Having the timetable day clearly visible on the daily schedule would improve usability, reduce confusion, and make it easier for staff to navigate their timetable throughout the term. We believe this would be a valuable enhancement for schools using rotating timetable structures. Thanks

Is it possible to include Meetings and Not at School details on teacher schedules. When uploading data from Timetabling Solutions those details are included in the timetable file but don't show on the teacher schedules.

Would be great if students were automatically notified for example at changes of semesters that they have changes to their classes, suggesting probably changes to when classes run in the week, or changes to which subjects they have been assigned.

Currently your team tells me the time implementation for an end date for a time period is 12.00 am on that date. This means that no classes will be scheduled on that day. Why cannot the end time for the day be set at 11.59pm meaning that the end date will be as the name suggests, the last day that classes are held in that time period.

When downloading a student’s timetable as a PDF, could it please include all staff members assigned to each class? This would mean that if a class has a main classroom teacher as well as an additional staff member, such as a Learning Assistant, mentor or tutor, the downloaded PDF timetable would show both staff members. This would be very helpful for keeping NCCD evidence documentation of the learning support provided to students.

Year in year out we require the VCAA codes added into Compass. These are bulk imported into Synergetic and hoping the Compass Sync will do the same from Synergetic into Compass environment. Alternatively please add an import template and how to guide via General Import thank you

Please fix the subject line of email notifications when an import fails. I have seen both Student and Parent imports use the subject line "CompassLink import for 0 failed" This has been lodged as a support request in the past but has never been resolved.

Our school has a significant % of students that attend engagement programs or are modified out of classes in years 7-10 for various wellbeing reasons. Students in these spaces enter them with flexibility, often attending ongoing or for short periods of time depending on the student needs. This causes student timetables to look extremely messy with 2 classes appearing either side of each other. We utilise a program called Edval to manage our classroom enrolments, and the program has a priority class feature that compass doesn't seem to accept. Compass would benefit from offering the option to edit how a students timetable is displayed.
