Currently, when a parent selects "Pay a portion now" in the School Fees payment screen, the amount field automatically defaults to the full outstanding balance. While this behaviour may be technically correct, it can create confusion for parents who intend to make a partial payment. If the amount is not adjusted before proceeding to payment, the parent may unintentionally pay the full balance. When the outstanding balance is large, this can result in a significant unintended payment. Suggested enhancement When "Pay a portion now" is selected by Parents in the Parent Portal Action Centre for School Fees: Leave the amount field blank by default. Require the parent to enter the amount they wish to pay. Consider updating the label from "Select amount to pay" to "Enter the amount you wish to pay" for additional clarity. CENET

Can it please be changed that staff names aren't given out on all communications. If necessary it should be changed to just initials. This is a huge GDPR issue that parents are seeing which staff are sending information, and including staffs' full name. It isn't good when a staff member unauthorises an absence and parents can see the full name of the staff member that has unauthorised. This isn't fair on the staff member.

Hi, please can we have the facility to search by phone numbers as part of a screening process? This would be a valuable tool, for safeguarding reasons. Thank you.

Would be great to have a permission form available for parents to provide consent or not for the 3 different photo/media categories rather than having to make three separate events for consent as they may consent to one and not others so can't do as one event

This is an alert which families can click through to understand more. Once they're read it once it should disappear otherwise it takes up valuable home screen space - especially on the APP. It also makes parents this there is an action for them in the payments centre, but these are all visible as pop ups anyway above this notification.

Hi please may we have a fire report which is user friendly. The one on the system does not have a final class count on the bottom. Can we have a report which shows which children are not in school today? Also adding a total count on the bottom of each class of the emergency by form would be most handy. At present there is not a fire report whcih is quick and user friendly from an office point of view. I have to collate 14 classes within a matter of minutes. If I could pull up a report which shows which children are not in school at a given time would make the whole process brilliant. All the data that you would need is in compass so it would be amazing if you could pull this live report together. If you can get back to me and let me know going forward that would be great. I can only imagine this would be a great report for all schools. Thanks very much

We need the Payment Centre banner to be re-added to the home screen on the parent portal of Compass. We communicate to parents that this is where they go to pay Curriculum Contributions and events. The parents at our school are unlikely to go looking for this if it is not front and centre. The general comment is that Compass is a pain to use. Also, when people pay for events and it shows green attending, they ring and double check as they think it is still asking them to pay.

I would like to have the option of adding to quick actions with activities used on a regular basis. e.g add people management

It would be good to be able to select the order of the alert prioritisations that parents see on Compass. At the moment the first one our parents see is Parent Teacher Interviews, they then need to select the more button to see the Payments Centre. We'd really like to be able to have a priority on the Payments Centre

Our HODS set up the master learning tasks for staff. We are not trialling the embedded Turnitin functionality. Is it possible to future update the ability of the HODS to be able to complete all of this through the Master Learning Task module (rather than it having to be added individually at the subject class level for each instrument) Our current experience is this is taking more time (and would be easier if it could be completed through the Master learning Task module.
